Natasha Kumar & Abhijit Sawant

Goa-based Studio Tilt, founded in 2018 by Natasha Kumar and Abhijit Sawant, is an award winning, luxury architecture and interior design studio in Goa with a focus on nature-centric and sustainable design. Having previously worked at Architect Hafeez Contractor in Mumbai, the move to Goa was driven by a desire to build a practice rooted in soul, sensitivity to context and materiality— creating spaces that are thoughtfully shaped by their surroundings. Specializing in luxury villas, tropical homes and hospitality experiences, the studio believes in crafting timeless spaces that are aesthetic, functional and bear a deep connection to context. Known for its climate-responsive and site-sensitive approach, Studio Tilt creates contemporary spaces that seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living with refined materiality. Among the leading architecture and design studios in Goa, their design philosophy centers on the dialogue between nature and structure, with a focus on slow living and blurring the boundaries between built form and the landscape.

Our Design Process

At Studio Tilt, every project begins with our commitment to deeply understanding the client's vision, needs, and lifestyle. We believe this personalized approach is essential for creating designs that are not just functional but truly meaningful and unique to each client. Our design process involves a thorough contextual analysis—studying the site's environment, its cultural nuances, and natural elements. This comprehensive understanding allows us to craft designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also in harmony with their surroundings.

Throughout the process, we embrace an iterative and collaborative approach, keeping the shared vision and the desired outcome at the forefront. This method ensures that the resulting spaces are functional, sustainable, and emotionally resonant, reflecting a perfect balance between creativity and purpose.
