Inside, the house is organized to allow maximum interaction and visual connectivity with the pool. Living and dining spaces are positioned along its edge, with large arched openings framing views and drawing in light, while the kitchen, utilities, and a bedroom occupy the rear of the house
Each of the four suites is rendered in distinct coastal tones of blues, greens and terracotta, with artworks, hand painted murals and locally sourced furniture pieces lending it a cosy, yet nostalgic vibe of the bygone era. Integrated seating, reading corners, and framed views of the outside encourage moments of pause, while natural stone flooring, lime washed walls and the use of rattan and reclaimed wood ground the home’s connection to Goa.
Bathrooms are envisioned as a retreat amidst the house, with micro concrete flooring, lime washed surfaces defining the space. Dado in various compositions of blue, greens and aquamarines add a pop of colour within an otherwise muted palette, while skylights accentuate the spatial quality by bringing in controlled daylight throughout the day.
