We drew inspiration from the charm of the beachy destination, a coastal contemporary theme with a tropical theme took birth. Blurring lines between the indoors and the outdoors, the structure is plush with large fenestrations and open spaces infusing it with natural light.
As the coastal design style suggests, the palette throughout has ocean hues- mainly shades of blue and green. Elements like cane lights, metal accents, and abstract, colorful art pulls it towards modernism, yet features like tropical wallpapers, patterned tiles and the use of rattan, jute and wicker pave the way for a coastal setting. It was our quest to fabricate a space out of the ordinary, with a home-away-from-home feel and subtle connections to the surrounding tropical environment.
This villa maximizes its open layout by integrating the kitchen into the main living area and replacing solid walls with white, louvered folding doors for a seamless flow. A warm coastal aesthetic is achieved through pastel ocean hues, elegant wooden rafters, and patterned tile accents that create an inviting, uncluttered retreat.
We as a team lean towards design that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Its what we resonate with the most and feel is timeless.
A coastal mélange of pastel hues is accentuated by natural wood shades and earthy materials like rattan, wicker and jute. Used extensively for the furniture and lights.
